RHINOPLASTY "Nose Aesthetics"
The nose is an organ located in the middle of the face and is very important in terms of appearance and breathing. Interventions on the nose should be planned very well in every aspect and carried out delicately. A personalized plan is essential in planning. With aesthetic nose surgery, the size of the nose can be reduced, the nasal arch can be corrected, the shape of the tip of the nose can be changed, the nostrils can be narrowed or widened, and the angle between the upper lip and the nose can be changed. During rhinoplasty surgery, some respiratory problems such as congenital disorders, sequelae of nasal fractures and injuries, septum deviation (internal cartilage curvatures) and turbinate hypertrophy are also corrected.
LIPOSUCTION "Fat Removal "
Liposuction is a surgery to remove excess fat under the skin by vacuuming. It is a shape correction process. With liposuction, fatty tissue that has increased in the form of regional desposit and cannot be melted by diet and exercise is removed from the body. At the same time, the number of local fat cells is reduced. Liposuction is not a weight loss surgery. Liposuction is not the solution for patients with obesity problems that develop due to improper nutrition. BREAST AUGMENTATION "breast implants"
Breast reduction surgery (reduction mammoplasty) is not only aesthetic but also a reconstructive surgery. A sagging breast due to hypertrophy and loosening of the supporting tissues can cause mechanical vertebral pain in patients, and may even lead to hunchback. Daily physical activity can be limited. In addition, while large breasts create difficulties in choosing clothes, it may cause social and psychological problems by shaking women's self-confidence. Genetic factors, hormonal changes, or some hormonal diseases may be among the causes of breast enlargement. With weight changes, breastfeeding and the effect of gravity, the current problem is further increased. Increased breast tissue and related large breast problem can also be seen in young women apart from child birth and breast feeding
ABDOMINOPLASTY "Abdominal aesthetics"
It is a surgery performed to repair regional and unwanted fat tissue and skin sagging in the abdomen and belly area. Pregnancy and weight changes may cause loosening of the abdominal skin. When this problem exceeds the elastic capacity of the skin, the problem becomes permanent. Stretch marks and sagging abdominal skin, especially those that occur after pregnancy and excessive weight loss, are corrected. Looseness (diastasis) of the abdominal fascia, which acts as the internal corset and is the main barrier in the anterior abdominal wall due to pregnancy and birth, may cause a hernia-like problem. This deformation is corrected from the inside while skin laxity is removed during abdominoplasty.
FACIAL AESTHETICS "Facial Aesthetics"
Facial plastic and aesthetic surgeries are surgical interventions performed to correct deformations that occur with aging on the face and neck. As age progresses, the skin, connective tissue and muscles of the face begin to loosen, lose elasticity and wear out. Although these surgeries do not stop aging; By recovering the skin and deep tissues under the skin and reorganizing the lost and displaced fat tissue, the face is given a youthful appearance again. Face lift surgery can be performed alone or in combination with neck lift, eyebrow lift, vacuum liposuction, fat injection, and eyelid surgeries (blepharoplasty). Combined surgeries are planned by the Plastic Surgeon according to the existing deformation of the patients.
PROMINENT EAR DEFORMITY
Prominent ear deformity is a congenital problem. It can be corrected by surgery and the results are quite successful. Ideally it is recommended to be done in preschool age, but can be treated at any age. The prominent ear correction takes about 1-2 hours. I prefer general anesthesia for the patient comfort. the operation is done in OR in hospital conditions, and the patients are often discharge in the same day. There will be an operation scar behind your ear which can barely be visual.
GYNECOMASTIA "Breast Enlargement in Men"
It is the name given to breast enlargement in men. Although it is often idiopathic and structural, abnormal increase of some hormones can cause breast tissue to enlarge. Excessive weight gain and irregular fat distribution (lipodystrophy) can also cause a gynecomastia-like appearance. If the body mass index is too high in excess weight gain, the primary treatment is for the patient to lose weight. If there is gynecomastia due to excess fatty tissue despite being at a stable and acceptable weight, liposuction is sufficient in these patients. If there is an accompanying mammary gland enlargement, excess breast tissue is removed by applying different techniques. In advanced cases of gynecomastia, there may be excess skin as well as excess fat and glandular tissue. In this case, the breast skin may also need to be removed. After evaluating the patient's problem, the preferred application is decided.
FOLLICULAR HAIR TRANSFER "FUE"
FUE (follicle unit extraction) is the one of hte most successful method for regrowing of hair on bald areas. The hair grafts smaller than 1 mm size and harwesting from the healthy hairy areas like back or the sides of the scalp. and the areas opened after shedding are re-scattered and tightened to sparse areas. Hair transplantation operation is performed in OR in hospital conditions in cooperation with a team of experts. In one session, maximum graft transfer is performed. After hair transplantation, patients return to their daily activities in a short time. While most of the transplanted hair continues to grow, the transplanted hair can be shed in the early days. In a few months, the roots startgrow hair again and new hair growth will be visible. If necessary, 2 sessions of planting can be planned in patients with a large alopesic area.
